| DAY 1 |
TAMBOPATA : SANDOVAL LAKE LODGE |
|

Transportation from the Puerto Maldonado airport to port by Madre de Dios. On the way, we will have a short tour in the city. After 25 minutes traveling in Madre de Dios River, we will get to a pathway where we will walk for 25 to 30 minutes. Then, we will arrive in a small waterway where we will board a canoe that will take us to Sandoval lake in five minutes. The view is amazing and beautiful. Once there, passengers will board a catamaran that will take them to Sandoval Lake Lodge
After lunch and a short break, we will board the Catamaran to visit the west part of the lake. In the evening, macaws arrive in this zone to spend the night or to stay in their nests. Return to the lodge for dinner. In the night, we will board the canoes to search for and to admire the black alligator. If there is full moon and the sky is clear, we will be able to sail in the lake with a wonderful view. |

DAY 2 |
| |
Wake up very early in the morning to visit the lake. We will be able to see birds searching for food and, luckily, giant river otters fishing. As we know, this is an endangered species. The first hours in the morning is the best time to see fauna and to obtain very good pictures. It is important to say that by midday, due to the hot weather, birds prefer to be under shade and passengers are able to observe them
Return to lodge for breakfast and then for a demonstration how native people collect, open and trade Brazilian nuts, a very important product in the zone. After lunch, we will be able to rest and to get ready to visit the east part of the lake where we will be able to see one or more of the five species of monkeys that live in the area, being the ¨Capuchon¨, monkey the most common one.
Return to lodge for dinner and, if requested by passengers, we can visit the lake again to see the black alligators or to go for a walk through the primary forest and listen to the night sounds of the jungle.

DAY 3 |
| |
After breakfast, return to Madre de Dios river to board the canoe that will take passengers to Puerto Maldonado from where they will be taken to the airport to take itinerary flight to Lima and/or Cusco. |
